After Lymphatic Drainage
Although specific to Manual Lymphatic Drainage, please consider the following points after any treatment with us in The Wellness Path:
- Hydrate well to flush toxins.
- Eat light & clean — Focus on fruits, veggies, and anti-inflammatory foods. Cut salt, sugar, and processed items.
- Move gently — Take light walks or do easy stretching. Avoid hard exercise.
- Rest well — Prioritise sleep and avoid overexertion.
- Skip alcohol & caffeine — Both dehydrate you and slow results.
- Avoid heat — No saunas, hot baths, or intense sun for 24 hours. (Specific to MLD)
- Wear loose clothing — Or use compression garments if prescribed. (Specific to MLD)
- Support detox — Gentle dry brushing and good skincare (optional).
- Monitor & manage — Expect more urination and possible mild fatigue.
